If so, here is a Simple way of getting round this.

All you need to do is pop your mobile inside a large sea shell (I use a conch shell) and the police will think you are listening to the sea...

it seems simple, but the police have yet to ban listening to the sea whilst driving.

Up here for thinking, down there for kicking dwarves...no what I am saying?

Anyone else got any advise?

In Singapore, it's illegal to drive and use the cell phone at the same time. If there is really a need to answer the phone, we have to use a earpiece and only for listening and talking. no calls dialing

I put my cell phone inside one of those boxes that looks like a real book so the police will think I'm trying to learn through osmosis. Worked like a charm.

Learning through osmosis is not yet outlawed either.

Here in Quebec many people, such as I, wish it was illegal unless it's hands-free. Some people drive manual, past speed limit, while holding their mobile! Here it's illegal only in medical places such as hospitals.
