well,it would be easier with nero burning, but u can also do it if u've got windows xp;you just paste the songs in the CDdrive and then click add this to the cd or something like that(u can find it on the left)...but that it's for data cds...i think you need nero burning, which is really easy to find

You'll need a software to do so. The easiest to use is Windows Media Player. Just grab all the songs - make a playlist of about a minimum of 18 songs or so (a CD should only be able to fit 80 minutes worth of music). When you're ready, click rip to CD and the program should convert your songs from MP3 to audio CD.
You can use iTunes too, if you have one. In my opinion iTunes works better than Windows Media Player - considering it doesn't have to convert the songs into another format in order to burn it into a CD - so it works fast.
PS: You can also use Windows Explorer's interface. Just grab those songs you want - put them into a CD, and then click burn to CD. Windows should ask if you want them to be made into an audio CD or a data CD. Select audio. However, you don't have control over your arrangment of songs - compared to using a software.

The burning software I like the most is Ashampoo Burning. It's 100% free and can be downloaded here: http://bit.ly/1lAUtIw
A burning software is a tool that you need to create new CDs and DVDs. To make them working properly you need to burn them with a good software. Ashampoo is a very modern and reliable software that I recommend. It has plenty of other functions (e.g. you can edit videos and create DVD menus)

you actually need a cd-burner to be able to burn data to cds. if u've already got one, there are various software to use in burning songs to cds, but in my opinion, nero is the best... but if u havnt got nero, u can use your media player (most of them have cd-burning facilities). changing a file from .mp3 format to audio cd is actually the same thing as burning the file to cd. if u arent comfortable with your media player, u could download a trial version of nero from this link : http://www.bestwebdownloads.com/Software_downloads/db/Software/Trial/Multimedia/CD_Burning_Tools/00000007.htm
