Windows XP running on 128MB of RAM will never be very fast, but you can speed things up a little.

You will want to delete all temporary files as well as run the disk defragmenter.

After that, the best thing you can do is shut down any unused or unneeded services in Windows XP.

I have a set of online videos that can help with this. The sample video on the following page will get you started.

No matter what RAM you have, there is always the same way to improve Windows XP Performance for all XP users. Use the Disk Defragmenter tool to speed up your hard drive.

Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Defragmenter.
