As a level 40, i would head out to Feralas, grind Hippogriphs and other stuff there 3 of my friends have gotten 3 BoE world epics which have sold for over 200g each.

Most Instances can be ground for making a gold or two. I currently make a trip through Scarlet Monestary once a week for cash purposes, adn to give my Disenchant skill a workout. mattering on class/race you could probably grind a bit out Gnomeragen or possibly Black Fathom Deep

What professions do you have? If you have a collecting profession, start selling your gathered stuff. Otherwise I would recommend Tanaris or the Badlands. Thats all I can think of.
