I think it's a good show as it shows what people in LE have to deal with everyday. There's a Canadian "tribute" to COPS where the RCMP bust drunks etc., but it's not as good as COPS as the mounties procedures are exactly the same across the country so you don't get the regional angle. I like Reno 911 too!

Hi there - I'm from Australia and we have a channel on Foxtel called the CI Channel. I love cops and all the true life crimes shows that we get from America. I think 'Cops' have a very hard job due to the element of crims that they apprehend. They are courageous, brave and very attractive policeman where you are!

Since I'm an american I'm going to answer since you are trying to exclude americans. Wonder what kind of prejudice that is?

Anyway the show stinks. It's been on forever and watching these idiots who act stupidly and then sign a waiver to have themselves shown in this light is ridiculous.

Enjoy the answer from an American and try not to be so prejudiced, narrow minded and ignorant in the future.

Since I live in Puerto Rico and many consider us to be different from the states, I will say that I think that the show distorts criminal justice by putting it on camera in a manner which stomps on justice.

Cops thinking of acting while arresting don't respect the rights of those who they arrest.
