What varieties would you suggest I try? Any tips? Websites?

I live in sunny south London, I don't have a greenhouse and as far as I can tell the soil type is 'brown' if any of that helps ; )

I am not particularly 'green fingered'.

Not recommended for outdoor cultivation here. You could grow them in a pot on your windowsill, they are easy to grow. Thompson and Morgan have some good varieties.

As long as the temp stays over seventy you can grow them outside. They like it hot, though. The hotter the weather, the hotter the chile. A windowsill will work, make sure they get lots of sun. I like cayenne, pequins, and habaneros. I also like ornamental peppers because they are really hot, yum
They like sulphur, so be sure to bury some match heads in the pot.
