There is no centre of the universe! According to the standard theories of cosmology, the universe started with a "Big Bang" about 14 billion years ago and has been expanding ever since. Yet there is no centre to the expansion. It is the same everywhere. The Big Bang should not be visualised as an ordinary explosion. The universe is not expanding out from a centre into space. The whole universe itself is expanding and it is doing so equally at all places, as far as we can tell.

The answer to this question alludes back to the oldern times where the great astronomers proposed two unique and different models of the universe. One model is called the "geocentric" model which classfies the Earth as the centre of the universe, with everything else revolving arond it. The other is the "heliocentric" model which states that the sun is the centre of the universe, with everything else revolving around it. It turns out the the heliocentric model was corrent and accepted in science, but the Sun is only the centre of OUR galaxy. As we have not even been able to explore the vast distances of space, we cannot even predict what and where the centre of the entire universe is.

since the universe has no boundaries every point of space time is the center of the universe, ur concept of an object having a center comes into effect only in a closed system

When astronomers look at distant galaxies to determine how fast they're moving, it looks like they're all moving away from us. Does that mean we're at the center of the universe? Well, no. It turns out that every point in the universe sees itself as the center! You can show yourself why with this activity.

To know that we would need to know where the edges are and whether it's expanding evenly all over or if it expands in a random shape.
