I have both but those childhood ones are more treasured than ever but they are all precious to me.

well I maintained one childhood friendship "my best friend" but all the rest I just moved on ...some because of drama others because I moved out of our hometown. So basically I have made all new friends and only have one from childhood.

I've still got some childhood friends and consider them to be people I can always count on. The downside about childhood friends is that we have little in common anymore.

define childhood... i am friends with a girl from 6-7 standard and also from high school... apart from that, the rest are college friends... just finished college :)

Yes, it gives me more soothing effect , when our childhood friends call me with my nick name , other wise we our self also forget our own sweetest name .Ofcourse we do love to make new friends also .

I have some though they keep getting in and out of my life. I do not mind as long as when i need them there are a phone call away.

I'm still friends with a girl that i met in 1989. It's amazing that we've been friends this long.

Yes I do. I thinks its great to have them still around. I have friends from 3rd grade and we still cool. Its nice.
