Make up cannot make someone become beautiful, it just enhances what is already there and gives a polished and feminine look and has been practiced for centuries. Make up changes with the times and compliments the clothing of a particular era ie 40's,60's, 70's etc. It is here to stay, I am overjoyed to say!

I think some women wear make up as its like a mask, they hide behind it, but it gives them a confidence from within. I myself do feel nicer (won't say beautiful!) when I am wearing it, and I feel happier meeting people with it on.

Makeup enhances a woman's natural beauty. Examples: If she has full beautiful lips the right lipstick/lip gloss really makes that feature pop! If she has beautiful eyes...the right eyeliner/mascara really brings her eyes out for everyone to see. Makeup used correctly is an absolute beauty enhancer. It makes a pretty girl stunning and a beautiful girl gorgeous. DUH!

Just because someone is beautiful doesn't mean they can't make an effort with their appearance. They wear it because it looks nice, you can improve on everything, even if it was good enough in the first place.

Well some of us dint use make up at all, i am one among them. But women who used make up because they are comfortable with it, and some just to enhance their beauty & to boost self confidence. And mostly i notice women who are beautiful are more likely those with natural look at them, no facial make over, or no make ups. I prefer real beauty, no make-up& definitely no facial makeover.

I don't agree that all women think they are beautiful. I think most people wear make-up to emphasise there good features and play down what they imagine to be their flaws.

do you really believe that they think that are so beautiful? make-up can hide some skin problems and also put an accent on the beautiful parts of the face.

sometimes to enhance the features that they have, sometimes its like a mask to hide behind, a little confidence booster depends on the person. I think we're lucky, we can at least use a little make up to make us look alive after a night out!!
