Help with my Ipod nano?

I got my ipod in Feb 2006.....I still havent the darndest clue on how to use it......i got a few songs on it....but i dont know how to delete them ( i copied 2 of every song lol) please anyone know how to help me with it.......

Open the Itunes to add/delete/update songs.
