Can someone please give me ONE GOOD REASON why I should do favors for people. No religious reasons please. Am getting sick and tired of helping people but when it comes to me, no one is there to help. So why should I go on helping others?

It's supposed to give you a good feeling and confirm that others can see you as a nice person. But if you are actually not a nice person, doing favors won't help. You haven't fooled anyone.
Stop with the favors already.

I don’t think you were doing favor to help others, because it that was the reason, you would not have felt frustrated if they did not return your favors.
Then the question remains, why you should favor people!
Don’t, if THAT pleases you!
The world will NOT come to an end!

Well u seem like a nice person thats y, 4 starters...& the feeling, that u get when u help some 1 is just satisfactory i guess...thats y im answer this question i suppose....Good luck!!!

if you're tired of being nice and doing favors out of the goodness of your heart then.... I guess you could be nice to people that you worry will screw you over if they get the chance. Other than that? *shrug*

Because we are good and honest otherwise no body helps us.. I did favours for many people, but when I want something nobody cares.
Then I realised that nobody deserve to do a favour for him.. because all people love themselves.. don't do any favour for anybody accept the people you trust.

Because you might need a favour one day, because you love and care about them, and want to help out. If you really don't/ can't then just say no, I'm sorry, or if you feel they ask too much from you maybe suggest if you do what they ask, could they please.... for you,

suit yourself, no one makes you help anyone..you can be a selfish person if you want. I believe that if i help someone else even if it does not come back to me maybe someone will help one of my loved one when i can not be there.If when you help someone you do not get any enjoyment out of it then dont do it.
