I lived in this apartment for 2 yrs, not giving it the proper cleaning. I go over it with hot water, but the dirt is like ground-in. Can anyone give me any suggestions?

MORE: My kitchen floor is a little 2-by-nothing, either linoleum or vinyl. Don't know how to tell the different, or even if it matters. The dirt is ground in, and a little hot water takes off some of the dirt, but not the ground-in dirt. Am not in the cleaning business, as u can probably tell, so do I let the Simple Green sit, or do I work it in? Please respond.

Simple Green is the BEST all aroung floor cleaner. It is bio-degradeable, and really cleans good. I am in the laundry business and it is one of our best stain removers and oil degreasers, completely safe.
I also clean a 1200 square foot tile area, so if your kitchen has tile, it works fine. After applying and mopping up, it will continue to brighten for about 15 minutes.

Simple Green is safe for ALL flooring, usually carpet too. Best on wood or linoleum.

Bleach maybe, depending on your floor. If the dirt is ground in Simple Green probably wont work. I don't know what else to suggest except clean you r house more often.

Mix about 2 cups bleach in a bucket of water and open all the windows. Make sure it doesn't splash on anything like your rugs or it will stain it. Scrub like hell. Or, tell your management you need new flooring and take care of it this time.

i'm no longer able to think of the floor may well be very vast. i'm going to assume you recommend ceramic or porcelain tile. Vinegar and water. does not remember what you utilize, a mop or a rag on your hands and knees. If the grout is mild in shade, you additionally can choose an historic toothbrush to bathe it user-friendly, or a scrub brush of a few variety. whilst the grout is as sparkling as which you ought to get it and this is fully dry, seal it. Ask them at your community living improve or ironmongery save. Tile is the finest floor to hold.

You need to advise what the flooring is made of.
If its linoleum try an ammoniated floor cleaner, let it soak for say 5 minutes then scrub and mop up. rinse with clean water
