One should not spend time plotting against your enemies, but try and concentrate on how not to make them in the first place. There is a fine line between an enemy and a person with a different view to your own. To many wars and conflicts are, in my opinion, caused because we tend to look to someone with a different way of life to ours as an enemy. This fires up our instinct to resist and fight. The bottom line is who is correct? If you do have an enemy, it is best to try and ignore them. If they threaten your well being, or your family, stay cool, as getting angry just fuels more aggression, and contact the police or other authority and let them try and sort out the problem. Plotting against an enemy not only spoils your life, but could leave you being guilty of a serious crime. We can never all be friends, but let us try and leave a person to their own ideals and views, and us keep to ours. Best to respect than regret.

I did for a long time and it consumed a good deal of my life. I would lay awake at night plotting. It made me unhealthy. I sought help from the local mental health clinic, and things have been much better now.

life is far to short if people spent less time plotting revenge and hating and more time trying to build bridges and healing old wounds and understanding each other this world of ours would be a lot nicer no more war killing.
we could teach our children to understand then perhaps no more innocent lives would be ruined or damaged

Do unto others as you would have others do unto you. Trust me, if they have done wrong and are not sorry enough to regret their ways and change them, and if necessary, make repentance for their sins, then it will haunt them in the long run through guilt, the return of their mistreatment and the judgment for or against them in the end.

I don't have enemies. I do have people in my life that I don't get along with. I try to work things out, and if that does not work, I put up relational boundaries so that they cannot continue hurting me.

I have spent time plotting revenge in great detail. I sometimes scare myself. but i have never acted out my plans cos you just know you would regret it. you will always end up worse than the bastards you hate. just think to yourself, they are not worth it cos i am better than them and I'm not going to scoop down to their level.

You should spend no time plotting, and all your time doing. Remember, if it's premeditated, then it more time in jail.
Spur of the moment gives less prison time because it's a crime of passion and so it's not all your fault. *wink wink*

oh no maybe because i know that the Lord says that vengeance is mine. i feel if someone does me wrong they will get theirs eventually cause what goes around comes around. i waste my energy with hatred anyone does. they arent thinking of me in that way why should i give them the time of day?
