The next James Bond movie will be successful, yes. The franchise has a built in audience. The only thing in question is the extent thereof.
Daniel Craig is the best thing to happen to Bond since Pierce Brosnan debuted in '95, as is the decision to reboot the series - in essence starting over again.
Let's face facts, folks, as good as Pierce was in the role, the Bond movies themselves have devolved into a series of action set pieces strung together with a cursory plot.
My hope is that they remake all the books - this time continuing the order in the sequence that Fleming wrote them.
Starting with 'Casino Royale.'

Yes, it will. Not as Die Another Day though.
The movie looks appealing and exciting. I hope it's not too cheesy. In the US it will probably cross the $100 million mark.
Die Another Day and the previous Bond film The World is Not Enough are the most successful Bond films in the US ever, and they only? grossed $160 and $126 million, respectively.
The real market is the rest of the world, in which Bond movies are still very popular. Even the Timothy Dalton movies grossed over $100 million Overseas.
Outside the US the last two Bonds made about $100 million more than they did in the US (Die Another Day $271 million, The World is Not Enough $225 million) . So Casino Royale will probably edge over the $200 million mark in the rest of the world.
The actor playing Bond is important. Peirce Brosnan was born for the part, though I found his Bond movies horrible.
Timothy Dalton's Bond movies laked pizazz. They were very 80's and not in a good way- dirty and raw- while Lethal Weapon and Die Hard which came out in the late 80's changed the action genre.
The next Bond with Daniel Craig, who is a good and suprising choice for the role, will probably do better than Casino Royale.

Judging by the trailers they've been showing on the web, I should think it will be very successful. I was sceptical when they announced Daniel Craig as the new Bond, great actor tho' he is. I just didn't think he'd 'fit', but in the clips he looks EXCELLENT, and the style of the movie could breathe a whole new life into what (let's face it) had become a somewhat hackneyed formulaic series of hokum films.

Bond truthfully. i ought to care much less approximately Harry Potter. The Twilight preview at Indiana Jones regarded exciting, yet i ought to comprehend extra approximately it. They stated it replaced into consistent with some perfect-merchandising e book yet i've got by no skill heard of it. yet i'm very interested in seeing Quantum of Solace. on line casino Royale replaced into an exceedingly stable action picture and Craig replaced right into a reasonably great rationalization for that.

i really doubt it. in my opinion, along with many people, daniel crai looks nothing like the traditional bond does. also, the story line (or at least that of the book, which i would assume would be like the movie, but u never know, i mean the spywho loved me book and movie were NOTHING like eachother) sounds pretty lame, with most of the action/suspense revolving around a game of cards
