Depends on what my mood is. Classical music - carnatic, hindustani (vocals or instrumental ) early in the mornings for a fresh start, western - rock, popular songs during the day or at night -basically to unwind.

I can't stand people who like "classical" music because it "relaxes" them or because it's "peaceful" and so on. What a load of crap! So men like Beethoven, Wagner, Mahler, Shostakovich, et al just wrote sweet music to give sweet dreams. Give me a break! Serious music isn't meant to be sonic wallpaper! Anyway, I'm not sure what you mean by "classical music" (as "classical music" really only refers to serious music of the mid to late 18th century) but I do enjoy serious music.
