I go for "knowledge is power". With knowledge, one can sustain any conversation, can make useful deductions, foresee forthcoming implications...
Power can be ephemere whilst the knowledge you aquired is part of you until you lose your mental capacities.

Knowledge is power, because I think the power of the mind goes far beyond the power of the body and having knowledge, knowing logical facts, reasoning about sth gives you the power to face anyone, any situation.

"knowledge is Power" is much better as as having the knowledge to back up what you are doing or saying is what will keep you in power and better able to make more powerful, informed decisions with the knowledge behind you to back it up.
"Power is Knowledge" is wrong, you can have power but have no knowledge.

I prefer "Knowledge is Power".
In my experience, "Power is Knowledge" is true mostly in fictional works, seldom in real life. Like driving a car - being behind the wheel gives you the power to control the vehicle, but not the knowledge how to do it...

Knowledge is power.
Cos i think the requirement for power should come first...what is power exactly...control over self n/ others..the ability to influence? I think only with the knowledge of what you can do and what you can't and of course in instances where you know more than anyone else therefore being able to make better decisions put you in a stronger position..what do u think?

I think "knowledge is power" would be the preferred logical expression. "the power of knowledge" may have made more sense in the following statement.

if you have a gun and dont know how to use it. it is useless. it is just another paperwieght. Having power without knowledge is useless. Power will not give you knowledge. Knowledge will guide you on how to harness what you have or to get your goals. It will also dictate how you use your power and also when and where to properly use your power.
Knowledge is power.
