information of the place , map
hotels,transport facilities
hospitals, communication facilities etc...
also check before leaving for tour that the house is poperly locked, lights ,furnaces,geysers are off. also if going for a long vacation ,then inform legal authorities and or neighbours so that they can have attention towards ur sweet home.
be in touch with them and ur nearest friends ,relatives.
