Does anyone else find it odd that Kay's daughter Maria is never on the show... it makes it seem like the character is a bad mom

Maria has been on the show recently. The producers of the show were probably put under pressure by comments such as these from the show's audience and added baby Maria. By the way.........is anyone else pissed that the original actors who played Sheridan & Chris were replaced?

Babies and young children on soap operas are rarely on television. Unless the story line involves something like them being kidnapped, or switched at birth it is hard for the writers (and slows down the action) to actually worry about putting the baby into the scene. Look for her in a couple years when they need another young teenager to start a new story line with.
With Endora, however, she is part of the comedic relief that Tabitha provides to the show. The writers have used the premise of a baby with magical powers to to create problems like the earthquake/tsunami and bringing Siren to Harmony. They don't have a story line for a regular baby like Maria right now.

I was wondering that the other day. Endora is on like every day, that you would think that Maria would be on at least half the time with her. I was so shocked when she was actually on yesterday and not just her cry or her name was said but the "actual" Maria. Well it will be another month or so until we see her again...

yeah i noticed that too. they talk about her SO much, but she's only on the show like once a month. it's weird. i guess we have to assume that she's upstairs sleeping all the time.
