Hahaha. Thats funny because that is exactly my situation. My wife and I both don't talk to our families anymore (they weren't close to us very much from the beginning), we learned that our friends couldn't be trusted, we aren't rich but we're doing well, and we both deeply love each other. We feel best when we're with each other, in the end thats all we really need. Life together seems to get better and better. And of course we argune every now and then like any couple, but we solve problems fast and always see eye to eye.
But I can see why some would choose they're families and/or friends instead if they're families and friends were always very involved with their lives, and could truly be trusted. But to me, one person who can do that is all I need.
Farhan - Thats interesting. Me doing the opposite of what my family and friends were all about made me who and what I am. Same for my wife.

Thts kinda hard to decide... i'de rather choose the love of my life n my family but being poor n no friends..i hope tht answer is valid!

No. You would be richer having your family and friends in your life than you would be with one person and all the money in the world... think about it. And if the jerk is making you cut off your fam and friends, he's not worth it.

I could do without friends, but not without family. Unless my family was mean to my husband/children, I would never give them up. But, that is probably because they would never be mean to my hubby and would die to protect my babies as I would theirs. Family rocks!!!!
