What does anything mean in Lost. I'm lost just watching it.

As promised, the alternate reality game Lost Experience continues to divulge answers related to mysteries on "Lost." Currently in phase three of five of the interactive challenge, the meaning behind the numbers 4 8 15 16 23 42, which play a significant role on the television series, will be revealed.

They are the co-ordinates for the location of the island on the map - longitude & latitude.They are also the flight plan reference numbers for the plane that crashed. However, it's the first answer that's the most relevant to the storyline.

They were #'s that some crazy guy kept repeating in an assylum that Hurley was in before the crash, then he used those #'s and won the lottery on and now they just happen to be the #'s they use to enter in the computer ... and now waiting to see what else

Damnifino. Those numbers mean something that is known only to somebody writing the show. When they feel like it somebody will let the 'SECRET' be known.

No idea, but if you add them up they come to the number of minutes on the countdown clock in the 'hatch'!

There something to do with the Valenzetti equation, but I haven't collected enough glyphs to know what the heck that is.

wait and find out i don't know but if you keep asking questions then your going to ruin it for your self so just be patient but I'm pretty sure that they where Hurley's lotto numbers.
