Thalia is not as well known. Part of the problem is that her English isn't very good. The international superstars that have made it all have spoken/sung in English as well as Spanish. For example, Selena, Gloria Estefan, Jennifer Lopez, and Shakira.

Thalia is married to Tommy Mintola, Mariah Careys ex husband/producer and she had a clothing line at KMart. But besides that Shakiras more well known for her originality and crossing over to English albums.

shakira it's known more than thalia because shakira had 2 albums in english, thalia maybe few songs only

Well, you figure it out, I know only one song from Thalia, that irritating one with Fat Joe- "I want you"- as opposed to the hundreds of hits from Shakira, J-Lo, etc...
She's cute but she needs to work a little harder...
