He can only grudge since Schumi is by far the best in the business. Schumi is closing in and is likely to defeat Alonso in the coming races. I would rather term Alonso to be unsportive. He should accept defeat gracefully. Someone is great when others call him to be. Assuming airs and grudging at defeat belittles. Looks mean too.
Well done Schumi, keep it up. Hey Schumi, can you review the retirement? Your fans wish you to continue.

No, Schumacher is one of the great people in F1 today. His figures tell that he is great. And schumi is not that kind of a person. And Michael will give reply at next race. I think alonso should apologise abt this.

This is the frustration that that has led Alonso to utter all these words. He sounds unsessible and stupid while saying all these things. Schumi is a great driver and sportaman and he will never support these kind of things, even if it helps him in winning the c'ship.

i personally think that alonso **** talk is b/c he is feeling the heat in the championship and is tryin to gain back some attention from michael in his recent form. it is also a sign of weakness no matter how true the statement was. im a schumi fan all the way no matter what. he has done a couple of questionable things but hey, nobody is perfect and the goal is one...to win.

No...but I read the whole interview and Alonso said that even if Schumacher is unsporty, he is still the best driver and that it is an honor to have raced against him...seems like, like most critics Alonso is thorn between hating and loving Schumacher...but I agree with most of you that Alonso should have just kept his mouth shut and accept the circumstances gracefully like Kimi did when his engine kept blowing up in the 2003 season that cost him the championship.

Schumacher twice tried to deliberately wreck another driver to win the championship by keeping a small lead in the last race of the year. Once he succeeded, once he failed. He has had a teammate pull over to give him a win, maybe more than once. At Monaco, he deliberately stalled his car on the track to stop others from beating his qualifying time. For that one he actually got punished.
He's a great driver, but surely not a sportsman. It would have been fun to see him in NASCAR, he'd have made Tony Stewart look like a pussycat.

No, it is wrong to comment on such a great driver like that. Mistake are done by everyone, knowingly or unknowingly but they were the desperate steps taken by Schumi to win his last Monaco GP. We cannot blame anyone.

He should first prove that he can do what Schumacher did in his career. Schumacher just won his 90'th formula 1 race !
After he proved that he can reach as far Alonso he has the right to say such things. Until then he is not more then a big mouth for me.

If you want to find out what kind of driver is Schumacher and for what kind of team he's been driving, just remember these circumstances:
Adelaide 1994...
Jerez 1997...
Austria 2002...
Monaco 2006...
these are the biggest. There have been many others across the years.
Schumacher was a great driver, but he used dirty tricks too often to be as great as other greats.
