You can also try peppermint essential oil. Just unscrew the cap and take a few deep breaths. Easy, cheap, and many times, effective.

The only thing we use once you have developed sinusitis is dosing with vitamin C and echinacia. Warm towels to help loosen the mucus and always avoid sugar, and dairy...both of these will thicken the mucus and make you even more congested. However, just general sinus health is key...the best thing in the world that I have used is a Netty Pot. You use it to clean out the sinus cavities. My mother turned me on to it and it is great. A bit weird at first but I have gotten used to it. The Netty pot uses warm salty water to actually rinse out the sinus cavities. I work in a very dusty book store and this is great everynight. As usual...check with your doctor!

Swiss Just is a new line of products for the body and mind and they have a spray called Eucasol that is very effective and it is even safe to spray in the baby's room to help them sleep better and prevent colds. In the last week two young mothers have told me it was awesome for their sinuses and their babies' health as well. You can visit http://olimpiasherbalcaresd.com/Specialty.html
for more info. I use it every night before going to bed to ease my breathing.
