Technology is not everything. Lost of the days of the past is technique, type of materials being used and time (lots of time).

It is not so hard to believe that these guys millenia ago were doing all this amazing stuff.

The pyramids, Machu Pichu, Nazca lines,

I believe that these were built by great men with greater vision. They had the workforce of generations to toil on their "projects" and there weren't Haliburtons skimming off the top and F****ing things up.

So to conclude I believe that they were smart....as smart as we are now. Evolution does not act quickly enough to make much of a difference between us and those that built the pyramids or the other wonders of he world.

Technology helps us do it faster. The brain is still the vital tool in the equation. They proved to us through these wonders that this is, indeed, the case.
