I'm 17, My girlfriend is 16.. not that that really matters. Anyways my mom walked in on us having sex, there where no blankets covering us. She just stared for a few seconds really shocked. Then walked away. She knows we have sex. And obviosly we know about safe sex. Learned that crap along time ago.
only problem is things seem really weird.. we have not spoken much since. What should I say to her?

She doesnt care. its just the awkwardness of her seeing us that we are not talking. Like we are old enough to be doing it. And mature enough. So there is no problem. I forgot to add, I did not know she was home. She just had got home and walked in.

Ok to clear this up, my mom knew (and her parents) know we have sex. her mom had us taken to get tested, before we started.

Not to be disrespectful, But alot of you must be really old. And not have a very opened mind. Because I can assure you YOUR kids will have sex/start wanting to have sex when they are around 13. Theres nothing you can do about it. Just be open with them like my mom was everything is cool.

apologise to your mom. tell her how you feel towards the issue of sex and the way you feel towards your girlfriend. it's very disturbing when a mom catches you in the act of having sex, and at the same time, she's right to feel the way that she does because to her you are too young to be having sex, which is true. you've gotta listen to what she has to say about it.

Tell her you need to talk. Then reasssure her that you and your girl friend didn't start having sex until you had talked about it at length and discussed the possible consequences ( which I hope you did youngman!) . Also reaffirm to her that you ALWAYS use birth control AND safe sex practices ( Meaning SHE is on the pill AND you use condoms- RIGHT? IF not, get it right and start NOW!! Don't be stupid, cupid. IF you are going to be 'mature' enough to sleep with the girl, you dang well better be man enough to get it RIGHT when it comes to protecting her and also for protecting you BOTH from an unwanted pregnancy! Neither of you need a child at this age, really, you don't )
After you have reassured Mom of this, maybe you could set up a rule that your door, when closed , is to be knocked on before being opened and only THEN after being answered. You ARE at an age where just walking in could cause some awkward moments. Ahem....LOL seems THAT ship has already sailed.....
Just reassure you Mom that you still love her and that she'll always be the First Lady in your life . Mom's need to hear that sometimes.

For Decades, Kid's don't have sex in their parents homes until they are married! It is called being highly disrespectful of your parents!

Learning about safe sex and using it are two different things! If you come down with aids, you'll wish you had used that crap! A climax is not worth your life! No it is not something just for gays, there are many, many straight folks with it! A guy can give it to a girl and a girl can give it to a guy! When was the last time you were checked for it? GOOD LUCK first of all and like the other person said lock the door next time for crying out loud. I dont think jsut saying ur sorry is going to cut it. Im not sure what type of relationship you had with your mom before this but if you find you are haveing trouble talking about it consider writting a letter and allowing her to respond in the same form. People are alot more willing to express there feelings and thoughts when they dont have to do it directly. Just a thougth but however you do it it seems like its something that needs to be talked about.

I am old and my kinds are older then you by a few years don't give me that crap about what every teen does and what she be expected that is a cop out and an excuse for adults to be lazy *** parents. Do not tell anything about it. If you are confident about yourself and thinking you did nothing wrong then why would you try to explain something?
Just keep being normal. If the time comes you should tell you have done nothing to be ashamed of but you would rather not want to be caught to your Mom.

I take it you were at your parents house having sex???????????? What is wrong with you? It's called respect! Mom may know you're having sex- that doesn't mean you can do it in her home. Jerk!!
