ATA is changing to provide its members what they are telling us they want and need. ATA exists to serve educators and make available to them the services and benefits they desire. Last year, you asked for discounted vacation packages and ATA provided over 2,500 teachers and their families with outstanding 4 & 5 star resorts and vacation venues at drastically reduced rates. Those programs remain available this year. This year, reminding us of the limitations you face in salaries and benefits, you asked for a reduced annual fee to affiliate with ATA. We heard your request and acted accordingly.
ATA Board Announces
New Annual Membership Fee of $30.
That’s Right! You Read It Correctly!
The American Teacher Alliance Board of Directors have responded affirmatively to member requests that the annual fee for ATA affiliation be reduced from $75 per year to $30 per year. With the costs of providing member services rising in every business or association, ATA has made it clear that making its programs and benefits affordable and available to every educator is its prime motivation.
ATA wants to become the #1 professional education association in the USA. Our goal is to be the best, the biggest, and the most responsive professional education association ever. One of the encouraging aspects of developing this organization has been the manner in which Corporate America has responded.
Liberty Mutual Insurance Company offers our members excellent insurance programs at reduced rates.

Southwest Airlines offers reduced rates on travel and vacations.
Prepaid Legal Services, Inc. offers products in legal protection that are available in group or individual packages.

Radisson Hotels and other independent resorts are providing ATA members with the very best in lodging again this year.
The Computer Science Corporation is working with ATA to emphasize special projects like Safe Schools and Research on Obesity in School-Aged Children in its publications. These are but a few of the many benefits available to ATA educators and schools.
In 2005-2006, ATA will continue:
to seek corporate partners to provide new benefits and programs to ATA educators;
to increase its ability to serve educators;

to seek the finest educators in America to provide articles for our website and publications;
