Absolutely not. We are just humans after all we all make mistakes. It would probably be cleaner and "motherly" but not necessarily better. The world would be better if we all gave what we want to receive. I know it sounds cliche but think about it if we want to be treated with respect, compassion, love etc. Then we should give it out. It's like my grandmother always told me "you will always harvest what you plant".
Well that's just my opinion.

If anything that is what more people should do.. Think about how they behave and respond. People don't have to have the same opinion, behavior or attitude as me, but the world would be a better place if those attitudes and behaviors were communicated in the right way, with thought.
Allow me to give you a recent example, my City, New Orleans, the Mayor. The reporter asked him a very good why question. The journalist was not attacking the city, however our Mayor responded possibly from his gut and the pain . His heart is in the right place , but he doesn't think before he speaks. My point is if people would just think before blurting out gut reactions.. there would be an open line of communication and just possibly the world could be a better place.

Do you think the world would be a better place if more people thought and behaved as you do?

As a whole and over all I really think it couldn’t be any worse than where we are today. At the same time I probably wouldn’t feel very comfortable if there were a large group of people responding to my thoughts and behavior as If I were a cult leader. Just look at the talk show occults we have today. I believe in self-expression, free will and freedom of speech just as much as the next red-blooded American! By the way when did being an American become a taboo?
Just imagine a bunch of nuts trying to tell you how to live your life. Well you don’t have to imagine very hard. It exists in every society. You wake up one morning and your told you can’t eat a cow just because it has feelings. I have feelings too…
Why the hell would I want to eat a cow! Wipe its *** and throw it on the grill! –I like my steak well done.
I don’t want a bunch of mindless idiots running around but you can’t kill them!
It’s against the law, so for now I will keep my opinions to myself. Maybe a few of those basket cases can take notes.

Believe it or not, since I was about 14, I realized that I could gage the rightness or wrongness of different actions, the favorableness of things, so to speak based on the thought "what if everybody did this...would the world be better or eventually cease to exist..." and thus I have tried to do things in a good way, generally speaking. I have LOADS of bad habits, each of which I take complete responsibility for, but my general nature is well intended, considerate, sweet, passionate and I believe in empowering others whenever I can. I truly love my neighbor. I am happy and egoless to say, yes, I believe the world would indeed be a much better place if more people thought and behaved as I do. Not everybody, of course, but more people. This statement motivates me to try my best to do better even now. Although I cannot make this change (your question) TRUE, it still is the basic way I've tried to live.
Awesome Question!!

To answer your question specifically, as some have failed to do, YES, I think the world would be a better place if there were 'more' people who think and behave as I do.

Of course I don't think 'everyone' should behave exactly the same. I've seen some answers pointing out how boring it would be if 'everyone' was exactly the same....but that is not your question.

I am basically a good, honest, and caring person. I am also careful about the decisions I make in life, and when I put my mind to doing something, I usually complete it.

I don't drink, smoke, and I've never done drugs. That fact alone would justify saying the world would be better if more behave as I do.

I have other worthy qualities as well, so my final answer is indeed YES.

Take care....

Not if they they thought or behaved like I do all the time. I don't think that anyone persons thoughts or behaviors would make the world a better place. I think it needs to be a combination of several people.

No, not Me. But, if the Truth behind the Thought Process of My Avatar were allowed to come forth, the World would definitely be a better place, in that Global Warming and Pollution would go way down ! Even the largest SUV could get 50 + MPG, & Emit 10 X less Pollution ! And in the USA, it's illegal on any Vehicle 10 Years Old or newer ! Go to My "360" for More !

Absolutely NOT. I think the world would be a better place if people would not expect all others to think and behave as I do..and simply all learn to look beyond our differences and meet soul to soul which is our common thread. If you can do that - you can really learn to love one another...I used to believe that might come to fruition someday soon. I still believe in peace and love - but I don't see a true peaceful loving world coming about in my lifetime, nor my children's...sad. So? Embrace what is good (and there is still much good in the world)...and pray that what is wrong will someday be made right. Life is too short.

I think the world would be a better place if people acted the way they think they do. Like on here for example. If you see a question that has a semblance of being prejudice they always say how rude or check a negative box. But how many really are not in real life? Like when you think you have patients and then blow your horn or drive past someone and give them a look or finger. How many times do you say "oh no not me" and then do just what you said you would not do. So probably not to that question in general. Maybe in someways.

Yes, but only for one reason, and that is that I am a very peaceful individual who does not want everyone to think the same way I do when it comes to preferences, beliefs, choices, etc; if more people in the world were as against violence and hate as I then the world would definitely be a far better place.
