What is your take on friends dating? Do you think it could ruin a perfectly good friendship to go into a relationship or do you think the best relationships spring from good friendships?

Friendship is a very open and strong relation. We share almost everything with our friends, though while the relation develops into a dating freindship...this openness may come in the way. As a friend what once was your strength may now become the weakness...because the one who was once your friend...is now your date.
well it's very sticky situation.

I had a firm personal belief, don't date your friends or co-workers since both can potently harm you.

I was often times right.

I broke that rule one time- and it cost me everything. My boyfriend, was sleeping with my bestfriend and we all worked together. So everyone knew~ everything and I was so stupid and hurt. I lost my BF, Best GF, MY JOB, my respect, my apartment and it took years to rebuild my self esteem.

I never acted so stupid again, and I dated a guy two times before he met my friends or even came to my house, nor did I give out any details about me to be harmed.

A wise woman trusts her heart and guts before anything else.
