I have been with people who are drinking and who are smoking pot. People who are drinking are boisterous and aggressive, people who are smoking pot think they are saying very deep and intellectual things. The reality is they are both stoned and not half as cool as they think they are.

I've seen people say really stupid things under the influence of alcohol and marijuana.

I have no idea where you got the idea that marijuana is literary. Name one literary masterpiece written under the influence of marijuana. Plus, people have come up with some "unusual" interpretations after reading something while stoned.

Marijuana tends to diminish the capacity for critical thinking, Witness all the people that buy into unsupportable arguments written about marijuana; it's almost like they suspend rational judgment to accept what they might like to be true, when the independent research contradicts the assumptions posited in various pro-marijuana tracts.

If you mean to say alchohol is more about talking/conversing, yes I can agree with that. However I cant say that marijuana has ever made anyone want to read a book.

I'll say that marijuanna may be more visual, in that I think its safe to say that while on marijuanna one could find entertainment in watching just about anything, bad movies, The View, squirells mating in a tree, anything.

Disagree. Many writers were drunks, very few have been burners. Don't include the founding fathers, a few of them raised industrial hemp, and only the really poor people smoked hemp, because it was cheaper than real tobacco. The quality of hemp was so much lower then than now, it didn't have as much in the way of psychoactive properties as tobacco.

They both impair judgement, so they both kill.
