With most Marriages end in divorces. Well, what's the point in getting married right?

i have the same thinking too be4 i get married. what will be my marriage look like? what if we ended up with a divorced? how about me or him later.. but thanks to god until now 4,5 years of marriage, we still hold on togather. Not an easy job but we keep talk, repair, change and adjust. who want a divorce esp when u think u already fit with this person for a period.
it is depend on how u manage ur marriage. marriage is to join TWO different human with personalities, backgrounds,society, habit and behaviours into a bond call family. u dont ask somebody tt u dont know well to marry u unless u ready to take whatever changes or difficulities tt might occur on the way.
divorce is the very last way when things really really 100% cant be solved anymore and no more point stay togather but only hurting each other. if there is still love, there still a chance and keep on with ur marriage.

that's kinda tough to answer. It depends on where you live, how much property you own, or expect to own,etc. If you live in a state like Texas, common law marriage is recognized, but it makes the breakup easier if their is no property, children, etc to deal with. However, certain states like Arkansas don't recognize CL marriage, so if you are with somebody for 10 years, they could , in theory, take the money and run.

well that thinking wont get you anywhere either.a marriage is something two people have to work at,its not easy at times but with good communication,respect and committment marriages do work out.
