seriously i cant! i mean every night i go to bed around 10 it isnt till around 12 or later that i actually fall alseep. i no it isnt in my head! so what should i do? i dont want to stay up because i have school tomorrow, and i have to look pretty for school (i dont look that good when i havent slept). so anything helps
plz dont suggest drugs or achole, thanx!

just to let u no i havent had caffine all day
yesterday they said dont drink caffine so i didnt. they said dont work on your bed, so i didnt. they said read a book, so i did. they said drink milk, so i did. they said think of happy things, so i did. y cant i sleep!?!?!?!?!????

don't think about it, this just stresses you out more, in your mind try thinking of an event like for example the day you went to the park, think of every single detail your mind will start to relax, you are simply wired up too much, try also reading a book or do a crossword puzzle. Sometimes what I do is play a game on my cell phone, pretty soon I get tired and fall asleep. Good Luck. or better yet Sweet Dreams.

Hey there, Im an insomniac too..but what HELPS is taking a VERY hot bath at night with a good book, make sure my to do list is checked off or what i plan to do the next day so im not thinking about it..most of us do..write it down! Then I read in the bath, feel good about my surroundings such as cleanliness, comfort, and know the situation im in is good, such as if you are in a bad relationship, cant pay bills, look for resources to let you know how to WORK on your problem instead of fretting..and last but not least..my mother told me this...DUMP your troubles on jesus EVERY night at bedtime, everything wrong , give it all to him, you will feel so free and have the faith that he will deliver, faith is the key to answered prayers..let his WILL be your way..im serious, im not a holy roller preacher, but those are the ONLY things that work for me, and when they dont, its because its my will not his..or lettting his reign free. I WISH you sweet dreams..please try these things and breathe deep through your nose hold for 5 seconds and release super slow out of mouth and let your body go ragdoll..please let me know how your doing with all of this@ Thanks,

I struggle to fall asleep too... have some sleepy tea. Never use the computer before bed because study shows that disturbs with sleep at night. If you're use to noise, try falling asleep with a radio or TV on.

Are you stressed out or preoccupied with something? Sometiems this can prevent you from sleeping. If this isn't the case, then you may need to consider going to the doctor and getting testeed for Insonmia.

I can't sleep either, drink some water, walk around the house for a while, listen to music with low volume.

You are not alone !
But for me i can't sleep as i think too much , but to force myself to sleep i stay awake for 36 hours continuous , and it's okay to take coffee it doesn't matter , in the second day night of my awaken i could sleeeeeeep ....

exercise more during the day. walk a mile or two, jog in place, jumping jacks and cut all caffeine out of your diet, sodas and coffee, red bull, energy drinks, don't go there... It will work!

when you come home from school start vacumming, dusting and cleaning the house. After that run a couple of miles. Study of all of your textbooks.this should make you tired.

When I was young I had the same problem.
Try exercising for half an hour after supper. It always helped me.
