On the butterfly icon to click to reach the internet there is a "History" button to see what pages you visited....on mine it does not work and nothing is rembered..... Is it possible to turn it off so that it does not store the pages visted, has this happened? and if so, how do i turn it back on?

yes it is possible to turn it off or rather configure it in such a way that it remembers nothing....

1. just ryt click on Internet Explorer button and then on properties....a small screen will open....
2. in its general tab, in the bottom of that small screen is a part by name history....just increase the days to keep pages in history from 0 to say 5...
3. and then click on apply...

the next time u open any site its url will be seen in the history...

In firefox : go to edit->preferences->privacy and set the option of clearing private data on exit .

In Internet explorer go to tools->options and check the appropriate option

clickon tools->internet options->
enter the no of days to keep pages in histroy
press ok
