Ah... I think he is great.
I never really got why he was obsessed with Lois though.
I think my favorite quote would be when he walks into the bathroom to find a cheerleader tied up. "Dear diary... Jackpot."

I just discovered this show not long ago through my sister. It really is hilarious!! My fave scene from Quagmire so far is when they're in the bar and he goes up to a woman and hits on her asking her "How about you turn around and show me your lower east side?" and then "she" says "sure" and he says "uh, transexual, wait, post-op or pre-op?" "pre-op" "uh, transexual" I thought that was so funny!!!
