it all depends, what are you talking about? What kind of unethical conduct? fraud, defamation, stealing, sexual behavior, what are you referring to? It all depends of course,
Why are people so vague when it comes to these sorts of questions?

In my opinion unethical conduct stems from lack of integrity. I believe ethical conduct strengthens integrity. Imagine a society where everyone or at least most walked with integrity.

People will treat you unethically.
The way to solve it is to treat other people ethically. There's no guarantee that they'll return the favor, but it's worth trying.
