As Morality in society to be seen nowhere, Should we make "Moral Science" a compulsory subject in schools?

I see morality all over Yahoo Answers. Just look for it, it's everywhere. Sometimes the bad just blinds us from the good in this world. I also do not think there is a science to morality, it's an art.

Moral Science is a good way to learn wot is right and wrong. The choice remains ours whether we put into practise wot we learn. The choices we make shapes our fortune, destiny and future. So if the future looks bleak then we can only blame ourselves for the choices we make not the type of subject we studied in school. Schools also have Biology,Physics and Chemistry as subjects, these are alos used to make lethal weapons and end the lives of many as used to save lives. Its the CHOICE we make that makes the difference not teh subject.

Are you talking about morals or ethics? Morals are a personal code of conduct and vary wildly, while ethics deal more with how you treat other people and has general standards in most societies. Most schools, I do believe, have ethics programs these days; I know we had them when I was in middle school something like 15 years ago, so I'd imagine they're more widespread now.

ie. when study science, the students should learn about ethical conduct for a scientist

Take moral lessons from events discussed in social science classes..etc.

morality IS there in the society. human beings are basically good at heart. there are most of us who want to be good to others, and try to be good always, but there are so many opposing factors, that we start behaving otherwise. that is why we get to see so much bad behaviour. there are many instances where people who have least to be thankful for, have come out and helped the most. it is in us to be good. if one person starts forgiving others, the chain reaction of fogiving will start and other good actions will follow soon. let us start doing good and see what it brings out from the whole society.
in my view, instead of moral science education, good deeds have to be initiated and that too, from our ownselves.
