How can you compare them, one plays basketball and one plays tennis. When comparing, one should stick with people from the same sport.

Shaq. Just think about his size. He's 7ft, 300lbs and have quick feet, great hands and can outrun and outjump most NBA players over 6'9".
Why is Shaq so good? It's not because of his size, it's because of the atheletic ability. He catches alley-oops that look like they were going to end up in the 5th row, he crosses over and throws no-looks, and that little spin in the post that he does so much is just nasty. Not even a lot of PG can bust that one dribble, back spin, floater in the lane as good as Diesel. He is a freak of nature.

Shaq on the basis that he is the most dominant center in the sport of basketball and one of the 50 greatest player of all time... until sharapova becomes one of the greatest tennis players of all time, she can't compare to shaq but on the way she's been playing... she'll get there in no time...
unforetunately, there's a report about her cheating, 'coz, they say that she's being coached by her peers while playing on the court which is a major violation in tennis...

LOL I aint ever heard a question asked bout 2 different people ever lol um.... Sharapova is difinetly the better lookn 1 but Ive loved Shaq since Ive been able to say Basketball

I'd say Shaq... mostly cuz of strength and endurance. Sure, Sharapova is smaller and more agile, but Shaq is a combination of brute strength and is able to run (ok, jog) basketball games. And he's more dexterous than he gets credit for... he used to be able to dribble the ball upcourt.

No common point of comparison. They both in excel in different sports: Shaq in basketball, Sharapova in tennis. There's really no way to make any comparative analysis.

Sharapova. She doesn't do good because of her size, she actually has some skill, she just won a cup, and she looks a lot better doing it.
Plus, Sharapova is just starting out and Shaq is losing it.
