you could try but you hcg level might not be high enought to detect if you are best to wait another week

Hi there... I am going throught the exact same thing you are right now...my period was due 08-09-06. Still havent gotten it yet..but i had a negative test. It may be too early to find trace amounts of HGC in your urine. Most urine pregnancy tests only detect a level above 25. Blood tests can detect as low as 5. Those numbers mean the HGC per CC. Make an appointment. Get a blood test. And if you are expecting.. CONGRATS!!

I know how you feel! My period is due Thursday (ish) tomorrow and I tested a few days ago just to get a - .
You could try. Buy one of the really sensitive preg tests that they have out. They are a little more expensive but may give you a +result before the cheaper ones will if you are preg!
We women are very impatient when it comes to wanting a bub,lol. It would be nice to just know wouldn't it?!

If you have a blood test it is not early and it will be accurate. For a urine test it might be early, if your period is due next Saturday, not last Saturday.

no it's is never to early to test for a pregnacy. Doctor's have this pregnacy test out where you know if you are pregnate 2 days before your missed period. See a doctor about that they should be able to give you a test like that for free

I am in a underdevloped country. This is the first time I am knowing that pregnency test can be done thru blood also at early stages. Thanks to u and yahoo answers. Now I will read on this on internet.

I waisted like 4 tests, cause I've been testing everyday.... None so far have came up positive, I'm barley due tomorrow, once you take the first one, it becomes and addiction.

No but wait until morning and use it when you first get up. Best if you can hold it for at least 8 hrs.
