In solids, molecules don't have enough energy to overcome the bonds between them; they are attached to each other.
In liquids, the bonds are weak, molecules can escape each other, but their energy is not enough to overcome gravity.
In gases, molecules have the energy to overcome both their lateral attraction and the gravity.

solids forming a perfect crystal((lattice)) have fixed arrange ment of moloecules in themthe degree of randomness in them ((entropy)) is 0 as negligible movement is possible
however in liqids the mobile molecules have some freedom of movement but not more than in gases whic have the highest entropy ((randomness))
if you find this understandable vote for best

solids are in a definate shape like a cube , Rhomboid, trapezoid...etc hence have a definate shape
liquids are in random state of motion & hence liquids take any shape
Gases also are in a random state of motion with even a less stronger bond..
