Subcutaneous are just under the skin, so the best places are the back of upper arm or anywhere on the abdomen. Rotating sites cuts down on soreness.

Intramuscular can be given in the large muscle groups. The deltoids (Upper arm), the thigh Top or side, and the hip (closer to the buttocks).

SQ injections are given just under the skin.they can be given in the upper arms,belly-above and below the navel and in the front and sides of thighs.IM injections have to go in the big muscles- the deltoids,buttocks or outer thighs

intramuscular....deltoid area..the muscle in ur upper arm..gluteal area the buttocks....between the hip bone and the sacral area...the muscle on ur thighs....
