My two choices for a winter vacation would be either Park City/Salt Lake City, Utah or Big Bear Lake in Southern California. Park City has lots of condos, beautiful scenery, and is a short drive from Salt Lake. If you go to Park City you just want to make sure you aren't there during the Sundance Film Festival--it's an arm and a leg to be there then. There is also the Sundance resort which has a wonderful restaurant and great scenery as well. Any of the resorts in Utah are gorgeous in the winter and you really can't go wrong.

Big Bear Lake is about a 3 hour drive from Los Angeles and is a world away. The nice part is you can go enjoy your cabin in the woods and then be down at the beach the next day if you want. Plenty of beautiful scenery and condos and cabins at Big Bear as well as a nice little village area. If you want to ski it isn't as great as Utah, but you have more variety visiting California.

Check them both out and I think you'll find something you would enjoy!

Happy Travels!

St. Augustine. Its an staggering position. Plus, it really is slower then maximum cities so in case you want a valuable romantic vacation it would want to be cool. I stay about 30 min north of it and that i bypass each and every couple of weeks. Its a actual previous city and there are quite some cool historic cites. Plus there are a ton of fairly romantic mattress and breakfasts. The major vacationer district jogs my memory quite some new Orleans. I extraordinarily recommend going there. Or in case you want something slightly extra southern bypass to the Keys.

San Francisco, you can enjoy the cool crisp air that's not freezing cold, and if you want the snow, Lake Tahoe is only 3 hour drive away.
