I just came from my interview. After the interview, Do they ask for medicals and police clerances immedicately or not?

In my case, I think the visa officer was not happy bcoz i changed jobs very fast ( 2 months, 3 months and 6 months) in past one year. I gave a genuine reason that i still have not got the job that I am looking for. Also she wanted to check more references. She said she will need to contact my previous employers to check my employment history. She did not ask me for medicals and police clerance to be taken at once, but advised me to wait for the letter.

She asked me some other general questions also. Like where will I settle in Canada, Will my sister help me out to settle in canada- I answer NO for the later. Also she check my other sources of income adn I explained her everything.

She said me that you can stay in Sydney until you get this letter and then submit your m

Give them six months to do that background check...
Soon they will notify you thru a letter, whether a yes or no...\
Since you come from a developing country like Aussie, I do think chances are fat you get the immigration papers.
