excuse me for sounding ignorant or stereotypical. i am of native american descent myself so all of the sob stories the blacks want to tell doesnt compare to the genocide that was inflicted on my people! so now i have tried to have black friends and everytime i do they try to screw you over. they seem to have this chip on their shoulder and feel they are intitled to special treatment. also most black men that i have known are habitual liars and they bragg about running around on their wives. i have made the decision to never have anymore black friends because i dont trust them anymore. i was not raised this way, but their actions have made me fell like this. is this really a cultural thing?? are all black men taught to take advantage of their friends and to run around on their wives and to fell no empathy for anyone, especially other races! why is this. and no i am not a stupid redneck i am a highly educated technical professional that spent many years in the military as an officer.

First, of all....Blacks never dispute the fact.... the natives had it hard in America... but perhaps you are ignorant to the fact the both the Natives and Africans came together to fight the good fight. You are right... Many ***** men have these characteristics... However, we have been conditioned this way.... Read the willie lynch letter please. And far be it for people to disregard all of the atrocites that "white" have done the *****... at least you guys have laws set up for you.....You have amnesty from certain taxation and Your complaining? How has the ***** been compensated?

And as a matter of fact.... ****** are probably the most tolerate of any race.... We are more racist toward each other than anyone else.... RE: THE WILLIE LYNCH LETTER.

Granted some may be a lil angry at white but is the thought that the civil rights movement was only 40 years ago?.... 40 years ago N I G G E R S.... couldnt even look a white man in the eye without having to apologize and submit.

And i.e. not all Blacks Like the ghetto/.... I dont know why people think that... We dont like the freaking slums... where they send the killers and rapist when they are released from jail.

WE PRETEND to like it... sort of like Get Lemons make Lemonade attitude... but we dont like it in the hood no more than others want the hood bought into their neighborhoods.

You know what? I dont even know why I spent all this time on this.. It's made me quite angry that everyone thinks that Blacks want something from them...

Give us what you owe us and make the playing fields even and maybe then we will no longer complain!

No, all black men are not "taught" these things. In fact, most black men are not "taught" these things. Its not really a matter of what someone is taught, its what they are not taught. If you think about it, most of the vices people have come from them not being taught what to do in that situation.... Stereotypes come from people taking experiences they have with a small amount of people, and basing their views on that. You just need to step outside of the box, and meet new people. You can't say that just because the person is black, and they may have bad qualities, that all black people are that way.

Or, for any race. For example, if a lot of the Native American, White, Black, etc., people I had met were rude/mean, and I decided to stay away from those races forever, I would be ignorant. If you choose to judge a person, judge them by their character, and leave race out of the equation. For the most parts, it seems like you need to go other places, and meet new people, before you make such shallow assumptions. I'm sure if you learned enough about them, you would find out the real reason they are that way, and not base it on race.

Also, it is ridiculous to call any race of people's history a "sob story." Black people, Native American people, Jewish people, and a lot of other Americans, have been through a considerable amount of strife at the hands of this nation. We should be open to learning, and being understanding to each other's histories, instead of dismissing them, and competing, so to speak, for who had it the worst.

Your ignorant. Until you travel all fifty nifty states and seven seas then you can't say what various people in one group are what you claim them to be. Black people are not racist for no reason, racism was recycled basically. It was taught by the white man who had no reason to be racist and hold us in captivity for over 400 years. Were almost entitled to be racist in a sense. Personally I'm not a racist person but I can understand why some of my people may have the view that they do. Further more I don't go around telling sob stories..it's redundant! Secondly, until you develop the eyes of Jesus Crist who lives above this earth then you have no ocular proof to decide how black men, black women, or any other ethnicity for the matter functions!

Why is anyone so racist???

White
black
Asian
aboriginal
East Indian

I would just leave it alone and not go blaming one race because it is all and for those that are not racist stay that way.

but one thing I do not get and please forgive me is the "N" word
why do African Americans use that word towards each other when there Great,Grate,Grate Grand parents died over that word to have it removed from the English vocabulary to me that is just disrespect full!!! guess all that was done for nothing

Why do people hold stuff that happen in the past too wake up it is done and over with let it go.

Wow TJ, at the end you said you were highly educated...I am trying to understand why you would right such a ridiculous question then...I am a black man and don't do any of those things... The day you learn that their are good people and bad ones of every skin type and race, that will be the day that you liberate your mind!! If you continue to see the world in black white, yellow, and brown...well, you will only see what you want too...

Good luck my friend!!

everything that you just wrote was filled with racism and ignorance. There are bad people in every shape, size, and color. There is no answer to your question because it is stupid. and as a military officer I would expect more. I am also in the military and the values that we are supposed to uphold are definitely not instilled in you. I'm sure you have fellow officers, soldiers, and people in higher rank that are black and in the field you must trust with your life and if you dont then thats a wrap in real life situations. you are a disgrace to the US military. Good Luck.

I don't know what kind of Black people you have run into. I can't and wont apologize for it, because it has nothing to do with me. You can't say that all black people are like that, because just to let you know, I'm not. I'm sure you haven't met every black person in the entire world, so you can't say that. Yes, I have run into some of them that were what you are describing. But I've also run into other races of people who were much worse. Please don't give up. It should get better, I promise.

Ps. I have native american ancestors. I feel you, but please stop saying these things! I'm you blood sista!

would you consider yourself racist if you have decided to condemn an entire race based on the unfortunate experiences you have had with a few people of that particular race? Not all black men are users or cheaters. Perhaps the people that have lost your trust are not "friends" but merely acquaintances. No race of people are without fault or flaws...

OH MY GOD! I know what your saying. I am also Native American. I am of the Deliware Nation. I agree. No other race out there gets hand outs, like the blacks. Either you give everyone a hand out, or stop giving them out. The blacks 300 measley years does not compare to our 700. Did you also know the first biological war was faught between the British and the Native Americans. The brought over blankets from Small pox wards in England, then traded them for things from us, all the while knowing we had no defence against it. Nearly wiped us out. SO before another black person screams slavery, think atleast you had room and board, we were systematicly being exterminated.
