Taking birth control....pill....does help to regulate your periods....as for the acne it may help if the reason you have the acne has to do with your hormones/estrogen levels....

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

Yes that's true. It depends on your body & what suits you the best. Dianne ED is meant to be the best for regulating hormones, & your period & your skin. It has more oestrogen in it or something? It takes about 2-3 months to work....
I recommend trying silica tablets from your health food/vitamin store. It worked wonders for me in a few days to a week. I found the pill made me very cranky & I had other side effects with it aswell, but everyones different.

in some cases yes. regulate thats what its there for as well as keeping a baby away. but acne and weight gain and everything else depends on the person that takes it. Everyone reacts differently. I've switched BC to 8 different ones until i found one that works for me. But it doesn't work for other people. So talk to you doctor.

All birth control pills will regular your periods, but only some will help with acne, some can even aggravate acne. For controlling acne, you want a pill with a non-androgenic or anti-androgenic progestin and between 25mcg and 35mcg of oestrogen. HTH.

It DOES clear up acne and it makes your cycle regular IF you have an abnormal one. That's the only way it will regulate it, but if you're taking the pills and having a regular cycle, your cycle will automatically be regulated.

Yes its true the pill helps clear up acne~Ortho is the best! Just tell the dr you are wanting to clear up your acne, they would know what to give you...Good luck!

It does regulate periods, certain kinds like Ortho-Tricyclin Low has been proven to help with acne

If it is hormone fluctuations causing the acne, then the birth contorl will clear that up, and regulate your period.
