I check email in the evening for about 10 to 15 minutes , then put the youngest daughter to bed and go to bed myself.I have tried unceasingly to "Listen" and talk when it is ok. The old taken for granted... Happens all the time. Was in the same type of marriage for twenty years... If she refuses to change move on there is someone out there who will appreciate the kindness and attention you offer. I found it and it's wonderful.. Good luck...

Ask her where she wants to go and when, so you can make reservations. It may means that she wants to go with her friends. That means you will be taking care of the children while she is out.

Remember the when is very important because you need a babysitter for the children, if you are going with her.

Sounds like she checked out of the marriage, what woman passes on a romantic get away? Talk to her this behavior is not fair to either of you.
