She may just be acting friendly and have no ulterior motives so be careful what you "read" into the situation. If she's married, don't mess around... I used to know people that are now dead as a result of situations like that. Be careful you're not walking into a situation that may cause you to want to quit the job afterward. If in doubt, use discretion. Be careful!

You are a real "romeo", earlier your question was your friend wife hug and kiss you while you sent your drunkard friend home and now your lady boss is likely to do the same thing. I like to know "what next ", very good tempting story.

haven't you seen the movie disclosure, of demi and michael douglas ? that's called sexual harassment by women in power. do not accept the invitatio, and see how she reacts. do it skillfully, your job is involved. why should you mix up professional and personal life ? her demands will increase, once you give in, so think before ! you will be scandalised, once the news leaks, and it will be awkward for you. moreover, you may want to date with younger girls, so decline politely, you are not under any pressure, don't accept any favours, which you are not entitled for.
earn yor promotions, on your merits, and not sexual favours, like some girls do !

if she's hott or there's a chance of a promotion, go for it, otherwise, be polite and say you're flattered and make something up like you have a girlfriend. if it gets too bad you may have to just tell you you're gay and quit the job. only in an extreme case should you do that. unless you really are gay, then just shoot yourself. save a queer, i'd rather not.
