I'm not American but I have bee to America and have been to several states. I found that when I was in New Orleans a few years ago, I was discriminated against for being white. That is just my personal experience. I'm not being racist just that is really the only place I felt "out of place".

See it really is in basic terms it. Your vantage element is diverse than the subsequent individual. you would possibly want to comprehend that white human beings were those responsible for racism initially . the idea of race isn't even actual. it really is an invented theory in our u . s . a . that has stirred the pot for a lengthy time period. Wheras different cultures have ethnicities, we've "races". I agree that racism and discrimination is incorrect no count number who's in the back of it. I also comprehend that there are quite some white those who're not racist and are frequently stuck up in being falsely accused of being racist, in spite of the undeniable fact that, there are quite some extra recepients of truthfully racism. to totally take excitement in this, you would possibly want to be on the receiving end of the racism to entice close it. otherwise, this is going to always be denied, debated, and so on... renowned it or not, racism is actual, it develop into created in a really strategic way and searching on which side you're on, your recognize-how of it really is restricted.

I have been all over this country. Often right in the middle of what was supposed to be very racist, bigoted, discriminating areas of all different nationalities and races. I have never had a problem. Is there anything to be learned from this?

My husband is a black man and from experience I can tell you its everywhere, but we live in Louisiana and its not to bad in my town and we live on the coast. Its pretty bad thought in Biloxi, Mississippi..... we went their on year on vacation and the looks and comments mumbled under peoples breath were not to nice. No one ever really said anything out loud but if looks could kill.... I personally don't take racist comments to well or if someone stares at us....I am quick to approach them and tell them something, but my husband is more shy and calm about it. I don't like for anyone to make him feel like is lower or not worth anything cause he is a black man with a white women, I stand up for him more than he does for himself. We are very well know people in our town and the towns all around us, so most people don't say anything, its usually the older men that look at us crazy, the ones who don't know us, but they are not stupid, and if they get caught staring or giving us looks.....look out, you will get an ear full. Everyone in my family loves him(except the Step-father...but who cares what he thinks) God created everyone and no where does it say in the Bible to not marry other races. We are both Christians and God loves us no matter what color we are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can see our pic's on my 360 page to know a little more about me and my family.

Chicago, IL. I have lived here my whole life, and let me tell you, it is one of the most racially segregated cities in the US. There are "Black" neighborhoods, "Polish" neighborhoods,
"Mexican" neighborhoods, etc. And of course, everyone knows which neighborhoods are where.
