A coconut is not a nut - so no

Do not make a decision by yourself. Do not 'surprise' someone with an allergy. ASK the person with the allergy. If they don't know, ASK and allergy doctor. Every person is different, so while one person may only be mildly reactive to peanuts, another could be allergic to all nuts and wheat and who knows what else.

A severe reaction could mean death. Don't play with that.

Find out for real. Please.

My daughter is allergic to peanuts. She can eat coconut, pistacios, almonds. We are very cautious to give her anything "nut" related. Proceed with caution and have the Epi Pen ready.
