I have chatted with Indian men who claim they would like to date American women, but do not feel the women like them.....What is funny is that alot of women I know are attracted to them. What more can we do?

Oh! thats what u think. Indian men r not all that innocent. They r more straight forward. May be thats why u got this idea. Indian men admire American women, mainly due to the confidence they have, being brought up in a permissive society. Also, as u say, Indian men may have a slight inferiority complex when they chat with American women due to the above reasons. We in India still live in a somewhat restricted society. We love America & Americans.

If given a chance i would certainly like to know a American girl close.But as i live in Bangalore India i hardly get to meet any nice American girls.So does that ring a bell in ur mind...babes.

A lot of it has got to do with racial complex. its hard for them to believe that a white womwn can like them and then at the same time (this maybe a little confusing) Indians are very simple minded and cunning at the same time. in the sense that we can understand the most complicated things in minutes and the most simple things just don't reach us. So basically if you are interested in an indian man you gotta make him comfortable and make him realize that just coz you are white it doesn't make you special and then of course state your interest in him more blatantly than sending him signals that he just doesn't understand.
