Well, you and I know that it is not good to smoke.

Obviously we need to take better care of ourselves and that certainly trickles down to our children. I know people who do not smoke and they treat kids like garbage. Perhaps in every other way she will be the kindest mother in the world. Of course I do not condone her actions. I will not treat her as you are treating her though.

I know for sure that I am not God. You should clean up your own act and make sure you are quite perfect before casting the first stone. Me too.

That really sucks. I would think if you have audacity to lay down and get pregnant than you should at least be able to put the cigarette down for 9 months to have a healthy baby. I don't know how she would be after the baby is born, but she is off to a bad start.

People will always smoke and we have no right to call them a bad parent because they do any more than we have the right to call a non-smoking child abusing parent a good parent. GRRR

which one is the actual mother? both are smoking. second hand smoke causes increase in ear infections in children. not to mention what it does if they are born with asthma which becomes more noticeable with age or harmful environment.
