Do not tattoo your lip with veg, it's just, lame. Think for a second how it will look when you are...40? Going to the parent teacher meetings, everyone is snikering and everyone knows why. Yeah.

Wow, that's going to hurt quite a bit.
The skin on the inside and outside of the lips peels and is replaced pretty regularly, so whoever told you that those tattoos fade quickly is probably speaking fact.
It's one thing to endure a lot of pain for something that's absolutely permanent. However, it's another thing all together to deal with tons of pain for something that's very temporary and will probably look horrible pretty quickly.

I have not had the lip tattoo, however I have had the eyebrows and I love it. I am going back to have more refinement and have decided to get lower eyeliner, and lips. Yes, the lip area is painful but I think it will be well worth it. I am fair-skinned but want just a light natural color to enhance my look. I have gone to a very reputable local woman, and she is just terrific. It is all vegetarian, or animal-friendly to my knowledge. Good luck.

In my opinion, the pain of the lip tatoo is worth it. It will require touch ups in the future, just so you know that. I did see one of the fair-skinned redhead clients, such as myself, and her lips looked wonderful. She just needed a touch up. Looked great.

You know, you might regret that one day. Remember it will be on constant display for the rest of your life. Many tatoo parlous refuse to put tatoos on people's face, unless they have thought long and hard about it. Please don't rush into anything.

As for pain, yes it is a little painful. I've had cosmetic lip tatooing, which is like permanent lip liner. It hurts most near the cupids bow and middle of the top lip. HTH : )

Well one thing is for sure you will be telling the world that you don't give head. No meat passes between your lips. You might want to rethink the whole veg thing on your lip.

Ugh...why? What's the point? So you are a vegatarian...so what? I would tattoo something on me of something of more significance. Think about it. Thousands of years from now...they dig up your grave, and discover your tattoo. Pfft. What does that tell us about people who lived during the early 2000's? Tell the future about something unique...something important...something holy crap...tha person was unique...what is going on this era that means that makes the difference? Think about it.

Hope this helps

I think that would be like one of the most painful spots on your body to get tattooed. I think it does heal up pretty fast, and you have to go get it done over a few times, since healing takes place pretty rapidly in your mouth ( you do mean the inside of the lip, don't you?)

Aside from how awfully ulgy it looks, and the chances of it causing infection, losing your chances of dating miss or mr right(don't know your sex), embrassing yourself, friends, family, and later children or spouse it may be ok for halloween night, or fright night movies.Seriously there are many people over 40 having troubole removing such tattoos form thjeir bodies because they hav egrown up and their spouses, and children , co workers, family, churches, clubs, doctors, employors, don't see it the same way as you did while younger.
